Here are some wonderful milestones:

  • Over 116 families (and over 227 children) have lived at BARN. Some have completed their action plans; others are just beginning their stay and working towards completing their own action goals.
  • Of the moms that successfully complete the program, 96% of those go on to permanent housing.

 

More Facts About BARN:

Barn residents who have successfully completed our program leave BARN employed and with monthly incomes that are significantly higher than when they entered the program. 
  • 43 Life Skills classes are held each year
  • All residents have access to special services (some for the first time) such as: mental health counseling, substance abuse services, assessments, testing, rehabilitative services, family counseling, anger management, developing healthy relationships, communications skills, and parenting skills.
  • The average income of our clients entering the program is $937 per month. Our exiting client income average is $1,720 per month.
